Project 4

The client had built a new home a few years earlier. The lower level had some exposure so they wanted to incorporate the natural light into the space. They wanted a large play area for their pool table. In addition, they wanted to be able to entertain, thus they required a nice working kitchen. And finally, for the ultimate in entertaining; a home theater to complete the experience.

Project 3

The homeowners have traveled throughout Europe and have a love for old world styled pubs. They wanted to finish off their lower level with the same style of an authentic European pub. Every detail of a pub was included. The main area of the pub had a faux copper embossed ceiling. The magnificent rustic Alder wood bar included a dramatic edge detail reminiscent of a Dublin bar, a hand crafted copper sink, oiled rubbed bronze faucet, and a brass foot rail. Wood beams and raised paneling wainscoting was also included in the design. The floors were finished with a rustic hickory with a hand hewn surface to reflect that old world warmth.

Project 1

Project 1

The client was looking to add needed space for family activities, yet give them the flexibility to have multiple activities going on at the same time. Stone and Banister designed the space, which included a media room, workout room, playroom and kitchenette. The playroom was designed to have bright colors and a special rubber floor surface that is both durable and non-absorbent.
