Additions

The client wanted to create a home theater over the garage. The client wanted to use the room at any time of the day, so a front projector would not work. So, the room was designed to contain a false wall and a rear projection system was created. Soundboard was used to enhance a perfect sound environment. All the equipment was located either behind the false wall or in the wall cavities. A computerized lighting system was used which also operated the window blinds. A small kitchenette with a wine cooler was included along with a powder room.

The client wanted to create a master suite by building over the existing garage. The garage roof was removed and the master suite was built over the garage. Special HVAC and plumbing considerations were needed to ensure comfort in the new master suite. The new master suite blends in perfectly with the existing home. The addition looks like it was built with the original home.
